I took a one on one Front End Web Development course from Beach Coders. I started the course having a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, but my knowledge was out-dated and unrefined. This course built on that existing knowledge, helped refine my understanding and start good practices in coding. I am so happy we dove into Bootstrap and other frameworks. I learned about APIs, Github, Javascript, jQeury and more. I learned about what trends are happening in the coding world. I really feel like my eyes have been opened to another world and I’m excited! The instructor was very helpful. He was able to pinpoint issues that I struggled with and help me through. We did code alongs, and I started to create my own projects outside of class. It feels magical to have this knowledge. This is a great launching point to begin your journey for front end web development. Beach Coders gave me the tools, and now it’s up to me to use them to refine my skill. As far as job assistance, I am just beginning on that process. I will say that even on my last day they were providing me with contact information for companies who were looking and had reached out to them directly. They also are connected with some non-profits who help specifically with job placement. I’m just starting this process and I refien and build up my portfolio. I’m over all VERY happy with the course and it was the right step for me.

In one month, Beachcoder’s Academy taught me the use of languages needed to create a website from scratch. Awesome! Logistically speaking, the instructors are patient, knowledgeable and transfer that knowledge in an easily understandable manner, the classroom is comfortable and conducive to learning and there’s plenty of free parking. Prior to taking the Code Wave course, I wondered what it takes to create a website. Now I know. This course is a great way to begin one’s journey into the world of coding. It gives someone like me with absolutely no coding experience at all a good launchpad into the tech world. I feel I can now talk intelligently on the subject – – and feel confident in the knowledge to further my experience in coding on my own. Thanks, Beachcoder’s for the great experience!!!

I have to say this bootcamp was incredible. I have grown SOOO much. It’s only been a month. I feel like a different person in comparison to how I thought and looked at HTML, CSS, JS 30 days ago. This class was the best investment of 30 days ANYONE could ever do. 3 hours a day/5 days a week…its a no brainer. We learned HTML/CSS/Javascript/jQuery/ReactJS/Node.JS/OOP/AJAX/JSX/AJAX/Git/terminalCommandLine/JSON/. It would’ve taken months of training for other schools to teach this and help me understand this. So just this alone is very impressive. The instructor was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable, and sometimes I felt like he had to be a genius at times. lol. But great class. I was trying to self teach myself with codeacademy and a ton of others…this class moved me forward SOOO much I cant thank them enough! I highly recommend for a a beginner launchpad, as a refresher, or just as the perfect pivot to any terrible career you would like. This class developed an even bigger passion for coding/programming! Sign up, you WILL NOT regret it…

I took the course and found it to be a great experience. The instructor was passionate and made it fun! Even though it was a lot of content in just four weeks, by the end of the course, I had absolutely no doubts at all. Super professional material, I felt everything we covered was on the cutting edge of Front-end development. I recommend it!

I went in as a beginner and came out with enough basics and resources to be able to continue learning. It’s an immersive, fast-learn model from which one gets the most benefit if able to put in lots of study time outside of class. In any case it offers a wealth of training that goes much farther much faster than expensive college programs. Instructors who know their stuff, and who make class enjoyable and fun while instructive and providing full value. Job support is offered but I haven’t yet taken advantage of it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Beach Coders. I came into the course with very limited knowledge of web development and I left feeling much more confident in my skills. I would suggest this to anyone looking to build a foundation in development. Practice and study outside of class and you’ll get your money’s worth.
