Going through the Academy at age 15 with no prior tech experience.
The instructors were very much about the needs of the students, making sure that everyone got through the content with no questions left to answer they made sure you knew the concepts and the way to finding the answers as fast as possible, made the idea of grasping a new coding language easy, and always had someone there to help if you just couldn’t get it.
I would recommend this boot camp to anyone from a youngster like me to someones 81yo grandma.

Having been a DBA for years, my current-day skill set was getting a bit behind the times. I took the fullstack bootcamp to see what web development was all about. We started with the basics of HTML and CSS and grew iteratively until we were writing CLI’s and building websites with Javascript/Bootstrap/MongoDB and learning to deploy them. We learned how to team program and use code repositories. I finished the class feeling like I could step right into a modern-day development group. It was a great and challenging course that I would highly recommend to anyone from a total programming noob to a 25+ year database veteran with rusty skills.

I started the bootcamp when the course was already done with the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript introduction, not only did I catch up quick but I excelled in the courses and learned far quicker than my courses in college. The instructors were very helpful and informative about every subject including subjects like job interviews, resume building, making a portfolio or profile in professional websites like LinkedIn. Because of what I learned from the bootcamp, I landed an internship and I am currently interviewing for a job. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking to start being a software engineer or for anyone trying to expand or update their knowledge in software engineering.

Pros- It’s also related to the consulting business in which you have the opportunity to work for upon completion.
– Was able to work as a paid intern to continue learning with real world clients.
– Teachers are the owners of the company and have massive knowledge in the space.
– Opportunity to Zoom in if you can’t make it in person.
– Video content created to revert back to
– Students were encouraged to help each other.
– Team project was a great exercise in team work and building a program.
Cons- With the teachers being owners, they sometime had to attend to that business.
– While the videos were great, they were often posted at the start of class. It would be more helpful to have all the weeks work posted a week in advance.
(I believe these Cons are fixed for future classes)

I started the Inventive Bootcamp course with no experience on how to code. Everyone from the instructors to the classmates made the course educational and fun. We learned HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery, and JavaScript. Working as a team was one of my favorite parts, even though it was challenging at times, we learned to work as a team in completing our assigned project and saving all our work through GitHub. In addition, the instructors were always available to assist us and provided feedback. At the end of the course, I felt accomplished on what I learned and I put it into play everyday, as now I know how much work it takes to build an application and all the hard work every developer, software engineer puts in to make the technology world more efficient everyday. I totally recommend this course, you will gain more than coding skills.

The Full Stack Immersive course is fantastic. Not only do the instructors have a vast knowledge of the curriculum and industry, but they also make the classes engaging and fun. The course is fast paced and never gets boring I looked forward to going to class every day. It is a challenging course but you get out of it what you put into it. A month out from graduating the course I was hired for my first Software Engineering job. The coursework is very applicable to the work you’ll be doing as a developer. I highly recommend taking this course!

Firstly, I would like to say I tried learning this many times but never really grasped it. I finally understand it thanks to the drive and willingness of the teachers they had to help me succeed.
Pros:
Great curriculum
Great Teachers and Assistants
The course is well thought out and prepares you for more complex topics along the way.
Class environment was very good and had a great positive feel.
Teachers taught in a way for you to understand and also had one on one meeting to help if you were struggling.
The course taught you more than just coding, it also taught you about making it a career, resumes, job interviews, and etc.
All teachers and assistants were very helpful and really wanted you to learn and understand, you are not a “number” here.
Cons:
I didn’t like the drive much, but that’s on me. I did have the live video option, but I needed more hands on.
